600 Volts Will Teach Him English Right Quick
Last night I saw the dumbist thing I have ever seen. While I was the EPCOT Monorail Station after EPCOT had closed but we were still running trains. As I was starting to fill out the closing paperwork in the tower, I watched a guy with a hose come on the platform and hook it to the hose bib. At this point I figured that since a train was just entering the station he would think again before doing what I knew he was going to do. Anyway, the train pulled out and imagine my surprise when he started spraying. I killed the power and screamed at him to stop. He did, and walked away so I assumed he understood me. I restored power and continued my job. Then no more then twenty minutes later he came back. Once again I killed power and told the guy the same thing. Surprise, the guy didn't speak english. I should Have let him fry.
VISA. It's everywhere you want to be, and a lot of places you don't.

Report him. That's a good way for him to get killed. I think he'd be better off alive but in trouble.

Maybe he thought it was okay because Disney has pure H2O. Water is not a good conductor of electricity. It's the minerals and other stuff in the water that does the job.

Wow, I laughed the whole way through reading that, but not because the situation was funny. I mean, it was, since you were there to stop him from committing suicide by monorail track, but the whole situation was not.
I'm glad you were there. Is there a time he could have been there without someone to stop him?

Hey, Dylan, do you mind if I pass this on to a talk show host where I lived a few months ago?

I agree. He obviously does not understand safety issues and does not have enough English to understand his job. What will happen next time he tries this stunt and a CM does not turn off the power? What if someone else gets hurt because he does not know better than to mix water and electricity. Maybe he thought the monorail had an internal motor like a train, who knows but he needs education and language class fast or ZAP.CBeilby wrote:Report him. That's a good way for him to get killed. You're new in town, aren't you? The water here reminds me of the old Tom Lehrer song.

The Masochism Tango? The Old Dope Peddler? Poisoning Pigeons in the Park? The Vatican Rag? I couldn't find an emoticon for tongue in cheek.
