well, my hat is off to the owner. I looked up vbulletin and it's not cheap software. and I know bots and things are a pain. I see Yabb now has Guardian built into thier software, and they say bots will only get in once, then are locked out and can just pound on the system but cant get in. I am sure the owner looked for the best software out at that time. I hope who gets the board will update the software to modern code. but thanks to the owner for doing a great job all these years and thier people that helped.

I turned off the automatic sign up feature for my forum. If anyone wanted to join they had to email me with their information and I would activate their accounts for them. I also gave them a temporary password they needed to change when they first signed on.
