Today was "Stand Up On the Train Day" on the WDW Railroad. I do not know why, or even how all the stupid guests get the messages about what day it's supposed to be.
The family boarded the train in the last two rows of seats, right in front of the conductor's position. They didn't sit down, the just stood there -- mom, dad, kids, grandma, everybody.
"Have a seat please folks, the train is ready to go."
"No, it's okay, we'll stand."
"Sorry folks, everyone has to sit down to ride the train."
"No, really, it's okay. We do this all the time on this train."
"Well, you aren't doing it today. Please sit down so we can go."
<Long complex explanation with many hand gestures, given in Spanish, which I speak, but don't understand.>
"Por favor, en Español, como se dice, 'NO!'"
They sat.
