Not Always Right -2
I saw this today on Not Always Right, it reminds me of a post by Zazu about 12 years ago.

Re: Not Always Right -2
LOL! Thanks for the chuckle; I needed it! (a few dumb things like bedbugs, mail drop personnel who deny I renewed my mailbox because they're too stupid to keep accurate records, and a missing kitten at the shelter I live at have been on my mind today, plus a couple of ex-roomies have been forcibly relocated and I don't know where they are has been on my mind the past week.)
Though I admit I like Zazu's account better. Cool that person got free coffee.
12 years? Has it really been that long?

Yup, I belive that math is correct. Sadly, I don't get to the parks much any more. While I retired from Disney, I still have two other part-time jobs I'm trying to shed.
Also, SWMBO's hips and spine are going out on her, so she wants to travel as much as she can while she's still able. She figures we can always rent her a scooter to see the parks later. This year we took a 2-month cruise around South America, next year it's Hong Kong to New York by sea, and in 2020 we've got a 4-month world cruise.

Did you guys see where the Maleficient dragon float caught fire during a parade? Thankfully, no one was hurt, but I didn't get what caused the fire.

According to Uncle Walt's Insider, it was caused by Mount Kilauea erupting. Hobie, can you confirm?

What a mess. The volcano is really stretching out. First some streets, then a few houses and now a dragon who just wants to wander the streets.
It appears that Pele will not be going back to sleep any time soon. Hopefully, the trade winds stay strong. If they don't, a big blob of sulphuric oxide will envelop the Big Island. If the Kona's (south winds) kick up the whole state will be choking.
Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

First it was vog or volcanic smog. Now it's laze. Laze is formed when hot lava hits the ocean. The change in temperature creates hydrochloric acid and steam. Within the steam, fine glass particles may be dispersed through the air.
