Godspeed, Neil Armstrong. You truly did go where no man had gone before.
For Randy, For Bonny, For Chris...
Re: Neil Armstrong Will Not Be Down for Breakfast
Shortly after the 1969 moon landing, I remember hearing a song on the radio, titled "A Man Named Armstrong Walked Upon The Moon". Right now that's about all I can remember of the lyrics/refrain. The astronauts were big heroes, at a time we really needed heroes.

From Buzz Aldrin's Twitter: I know I am joined by millions of others in mourning Neil's passing - a true American hero and the best pilot I ever knew.
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Re: Neil Armstrong Will Not Be Down for Breakfast
I remember watching the live feed of when he first stepped onto the moon. It's still pretty cool looking back on it.
RIP Neil.
RIP Neil.

I cannot begin to tell you how old this makes me feel. It seems like yesterday. I was just a few days short of being 22 years old. He was 38 years old. :(

Re: Neil Armstrong Will Not Be Down for Breakfast
He was an amazing man with forsight. After he walked on the moon he was a humble hero. As long as there is a moon, Neil Armstron will be remembered. His family stated something like; When you look up and smile at the moon, he'll be winking. Thank you Neil Armstrong for walking on the moon and into our hearts. R I P :usflag:
