Our favorite drink at WDW, along with the Grand Marnier Orange Slush in France!

The Grand Marnier Orange Slush is France is soooo good. We even had a friend get one who doesn't drink much, and is usually frugal!

It's Adlaw ni Lapu-Lapu or Day of Lapu-Lapu.

Image

Lapu Lapu

1 ½ ounces Coruba dark Jamaican rum
1 ½ ounces Don Q Cristal light Puerto Rican rum
2 ounces fresh lemon juice
3 ounces fresh orange juice
1 ounce simple syrup
¾ ounce passion fruit syrup

Place all ingredients except peel into shaker, add ice, shake and strain into large snifter with fresh ice. Garnish with orange peel. Serves one.

Passion Fruit Syrup

½ cup passion fruit pulp
(from about 7 ripe fruits; or use Goya Passion Fruit Pulp)
1 cup water
1 cup sugar

Combine all ingredients and boil on medium high, stirring until sugar dissolves. Reduce to low and simmer until syrup is reduced to 1 ½ cups. Transfer to container and refrigerate; keeps two days.

This is not a drink I've discovered at WDW, I may have to try it the next time I'm there. :)

soooooooooooo gooooooooooooooooooooooood you MUST TRY!

There will be more than one of these consumed on my honeymoon, I'm sure. World Showcase CMs, I promise not to get drunk enough to become an SG.

But there are oh so many yummy drinks to be had there!

Going around World Showcase is like traveling in time and relative dimensions in space! :tardis:

IMHO, the grand marnier slushie is the second best alcoholic drink at epcot. the first has to be the cucumber margarita at cava del tequila in the mexico pavilion. theyre expensive, but theyre amazing. my second fave margarita is definitely the passionfruit. tastes like the passionfruit/orange juice at the polynesian. i dont even bother getting the margaritas in the kiosk on street level anymore.
