Too Many Annual Passholders?
I've been in heated debates like the ones on Capitol Hill about the AP issue and somehow, there's this notion that there are "1 million" Annual Passholders. it seems that many SGs who are Premium APs have this prejudice about those APs who are lower (e.g. Deluxe, So-Cal, and So-Cal Select) and how they crowd the park, paking spaces, long lines, fill the Park (DL) to capacity, etc, etc etc. Does any DLR Cast Member here know anything about this and has any SG cried and moaned about this "issue"?

Re: Too Many Annual Passholders?
That reminds me of a Frasier episode. He and Niles were guests at a club and discovered there was an exclusive Gold Room. They whined their way into it only to discover there was a Platinum Room. Repeat whining.
They're kicked back in the Platinum Room when a door opens and the room floods with light. The assume it must be the Diamond Room and charge through the door which closes behind them.
They discover they're now outside the club in the alley where all the garbage cans are kept. And, with the door closed and locked, they can't get back into the club.

Hard to believe, but APs are getting the ire of non-APers for clogging up the park in the evenings. Us poor yokals who go every now and then must put up with the crowds.

Well of course they're a must see. You never know when the dragon might explode or a rocket misfires and lands in a crowd of APs. Just think of the video sales potential to news outlets and the law suits that would follow. :D:

I guess it's a good thing I am not currently an AP...
There's no place like 127.0.0.1

I've seen that episode, it is amazing. :) And so fits this situation.hobie16 wrote:That reminds me of a Frasier episode. He and Niles were guests at a club and discovered there was an exclusive Gold Room. They whined their way into it only to discover there was a Platinum Room. Repeat whining.

People need to realize that just because they have the highest AP does not mean that they are "better" than anyone else.SmallWorldGuy76 wrote:it seems that many SGs who are Premium APs have this prejudice about those APs who are lower (e.g. Deluxe, So-Cal, and So-Cal Select) and how they crowd the park, paking spaces, long lines, fill the Park (DL) to capacity, etc, etc etc.
Of course, not all APs are SGs.....But unfortunately, it seems that many are.

And a lot of them think they are god. oohh, I have a annual pass so I get first crack at everything. You are just a royal guest. and not a god to Disney. you must still wait in line and try to be nice and polite to the CMs. sometimes you will get extra deal or gifts or something, but you are still only a guest who just pays in advance to get in. don't bite the hand that feeds you. you can be thrown out with out a refund. Read the fine print.
Don't be a passhole.
