At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.
Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

I am noticing that some Frozen items are quietly sneaking into stores this Summer...Frozen Fleece Fabric, Frozen "Ice Princess" dress patterns from McCalls...I am thinking by October the stores will attempt to collect on all of those who were unable to find merchandise last year.Saw some previews for some new Frozen Trading Pins that will become available this Summer at Disney Parks, too. Happy Shopping!

Re: Silly Disney
We have to sneak them in. If we just put them on a cart and roll them out of the stockroom, the cast member pushing tends to get assaulted. What little Frozen product we do receive is flying off the shelves faster than the scant Ratatouille stock did.DisneyMom wrote:I am noticing that some Frozen items are quietly sneaking into stores this Summer...
Re: Silly Disney
With Disney's willingness to FLOOD the market with merch, we have been a little disappointed with the availability of Frozen stuff. We have been trying to get our hands on Olaf plushes since the movie came out. There were none in May when we went. Maybe in July when we go again.
Re: Silly Disney
well, this is how they killed thier collector cards market.
hey, some cards are worth 5 or 10 dollars,
I know, lets quadriple the printing and really rake in the bucks
so our beloved 5 and 10 dollar disney cards are now 5 and 10 cents cards,
cause everyone and thier mother has them,
so now we let the dog chew on them.
