Re: What is so Difficult about a Turnstile
My favourite is how parents think their kids are too stupid to use a turnstile and tell them to "just go under."

We were told that usually the cops wouldn't bother reporting it to the company unless you were rude to them. But honestly I so rarely see cops on property. Outside of off duty OT guys who couldn't care less about if we're speeding.

Re: Main Street Park Ops
You might end up on steam trains, they're definitely short on FT folks. And they are MSO.
Congrats on the status change. MSO is a lot of fun.

Re: Do cm really hate GAC?
The only time it annoys me is when people try to use it for transportation and get offended when I tell them it's not applicable for transportation. Or try and argue. Or bypass the entire queue full of a thousand people to ask about it. I wouldn't mind, except it says on it that it's not applicable ...

Re: Closing the Park. What guests do.
Yes, Friendship is attractions. Attractions in a transportation role. Kind of a scary thing, when you really think of it. Transportation should not h ave an attractions mentality. Yup, but somebody realized they could call Friendship an attraction and not have to pay the CMs as much. So now they're...

Re: Behind The Ears Question
I was answering the question in a roundabout manner. Costuming issues what amounts to t-shirts and cotton shorts to be worn underneath. They wear those from where they pick up the costume, which is put in a big black bag and wheeled on a hand truck to their location. Except for Princesses, there's a...

Re: Closing the Park. What guests do.
I am reminded of the time when I was parked at DHS, went to Epcot to see Illuminations and then got on the Friendship boat to go back to my car. One of the skippers was asking where everyone was going and got really upset when I said my destination. He even informed me that he wanted to go home. We...

Goofy doesn't dress in a single location. He wears his street clothes to where he's needed then puts on his clothes for that location.

Re: How Disney operates...
Wow, that's an excellent summary of the theme park system as a whole, which Disney has created. Nobody sticks their neck out because if you stick your neck out and fail it's getting cut off. There's no room for mistakes, no matter if it's $100 spent on signs or an accounting mistake for millions. On...

Re: Question to WDW Cast Members
Never heard of this. If anything we want to talk and be nice 'cause we're curious about how things work out there. I was under the impression that you had to use your maingate to access a non-local park. So if a WDW CM went to DLR they'd be required to use their maingate. Or if a DLR CM went to DLP ...
