More of a general ?, really, for the Kings Islanders...

Hey folks, A few months ago, I took my first trip to Kings Island in approx. 13 years. You can really tell Cedar Faire took over, now there are almost overlapping roller coasters. Anyway. What I was wondering, and none of the staff I talked to could give me an answer... when did the Racers stop goin...

Re: The people who like to trickle through the line

Ah, my finest moment at Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage at DLR. Second summer it was open, summer wait times still pushing towards 120 minutes. I was working Guest Control at the spot where we opened the chains for folks using the wheelchair entrance, getting to the MOO, and the like, and this group o...

Re: Do You Have T-Mobile? Not for much longer!

Oh yeah, I'm real thrilled about this. First, my preferred method of music delivery is going the way of the dodo, and now my phone provider with lousy service but good customer service is threatened to be bought out by someone with lousy service on all fronts. Oh, but they have a fruit phone. Not th...

Re: Nemo Subs

Well, there are also physical sets and figures in addition to the projected animation, so I'd say that its better than a movie. Its kind if like a dark ride underwater. I think its still a very immersive experience. Especially when the mine explodes and the warning lights and electrical currents go...

Oh, it's a common conversation thread: Rep: So where are you located? Me: Indiana. Rep: Really? Me: Yep. Extra "na" on that location that you didn't expect, huh? And it doesn't help that while I'm working on their system, I'm cracking Jungle Cruise-level jokes with them, with the theory th...

Re: Zune Will Not Be Down For Breakfast

Hey now, my old Zune 30 helped pass the time driving from Rancho Cucamonga to Anaheim every shift, and helped pass the time back stage when I was running early. Later, it helped with playlists at work when I hooked it up to the sound system. My Zune 120 helps me block out people at work when I'm not...

Re: Now This I Like

I now do call center/tech support.

I will regularly have Southern California customers ask me if I ever worked as a Disney cast member.

Re: Why Would You Do That???

The diaper changing areas, plus the Baby Center, are just so nice we've never had a problem bringing our daughter to the park since she was just a wee one. And I probably posted it before, but it's true about people changing diapers where ever. I know there was once or twice when I was doing my walk...

Re: Nemo Subs

Hey there- The "MOO" or Marine Observation Outpost is essentially a video of the attraction that looks like it was shot through a porthole on a sub. This sub is perfectly timed, on profile, everything looks as good as it did at open, and is very well done. Plus, you're not crammed in a can...

Re: Another Game I Miss - Photon!

The game, the series, and I remember even having the books.

Thought it was cooler than Laser Tag, even though it was practically the same frakkin' thing.
