Re: The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall

I think it's been on the Ovation cable channel a couple of times. That's where I saw it. Ovation airs a lot Broadway musicals and theater. I saw a "Making Of" the original Phantom production on Ovation and it was simply fascinating. That's worth checking out too.

A protective bubble could also go around the section of Emeryville that Pixar is in too. :)

Re: Dick Clark Will Not Be Down For Breakfast!

I was so saddened by the passing of Dick Clark today. He seemed ageless-even with his stroke I thought he would make it to a 100. My Dad has worked many Dick Clark produced shows from the American Music Awards to Bandstand episodes-thank you Dick Clark for putting food on our table. Farewell Dick Cl...

Re: How Disney operates...

I don't think Lasseter could ever give up his love of animation and running Pixar to be the Disney CEO. He's probably in a good position right now.

Re: Rumors Everyplace..

I ADORE Avast! :) HUGE improvement over Norton Antivirus. That was really a system hog and resource eater. I'm glad I made the conversion to Avast. I've suddenly been getting that, too. Although the only time I get that is when I'm looking up SGT on my school computer. (I already have the site favo...

Re: How Disney operates...

I don't know much about him because I tend more toward reading Disney books rather than following blogs (although I do go on periodic blog-reading binges), so I'm always woefully out of date. I do know he appreciates Miyazaki and the Miyazaki English dubs he's supervised were much better than most ...

Re: Closing the Park. What guests do.

Hey now. Hell Grand Cayman is fun because of the little old man in the cheapo devil costume. The amazing thing is, after I saw him in real life, I went on Google and found pics of him doing that very job for a very, very long time. And he looked exactly the same. So maybe the cheap costume is to co...

Re: Magic Kingdom to be open 24 hours on leap day

Judging from the article, I think TDA management is lucky that the crowd stayed relatively positive. It could have gone wrong so fast and then what? I can't believe DL was so woefully understaffed. (Actually I can, but it still floors me.) Management should have known better and hopefully this was a...
