Disney World did have fireworks during the day. . .Anyone here remember EPCOT's attempt at a full fireworks show during the day over the lagoon? *Please note: This is not a test to see how o...

Re: CM dies in roller coaster accident in Sweden

This is one of my worst fears that I will witness this someday. Lack of sufficient training in some areas. Many amusement/theme parks disregard of safety protocol/proceedures worries me. Ten or more hour days with bare minimum breaks/or not enough breaks. My heart goes out to his family and coworker...

Re: Fastpass Woes

Splash Mountain WDW Fastpass/Stand-by Ratio is 80/20, if the FP line is out the barn door it's 90/10 (Number of guests in per line). He was doing it right...however FLIK was not working right after the rain and we got slammed in the queue asnd since we can no longer touch the wait time clock the FLI...

Re: Minimum Height Requirement vs. Age?

OHIO has got alot of this under control by it's laws. Signage at attractons is standard at each and every Ohio amusement/themed park. There is a rating system that is standard (almost like A,B,C,D,E ticket rating) Standard height requirements for like attractions (I.E. Corkscrew attractions at Cedar...

Re: If I could, I would...

1. make guests run the entire length of Splash to apologize to each and every person that they stopped the ride because they got out of their log cause they didn't want to go down the big drop or cause intrusions to get out of a boat to take a picture with br'er fox, then stand them at merge point an...

Re: What would you tell Walt Disney

I'd thank Walt for giving me my imagination, happiness in dark times, and I think he'd figure things out about the park on his own...or by reading SGT :)

Re: Here's Your Sign: The Disney Saga

Happy 4th...and what a day it was ;) So I am heading out on the bus to westclock tonight and we were talking about how stupid the guests were being today (yes even more-so than normal). A girl related a HYS moment from TMRWLND: Guest to Custodial CM: Where is the exit to the park at? CM: Down main S...

Even better....Today while strolling thru the U-Door I saw a merchandise stocker taking swords out of their packaging to be put on stage. Then I noticed it was the same packaging from swords sold at the DOLLAR TREE for $1...Our Price $7.00! Remeber when the Squeeze Breeze Fans first appeared at Disn...
