Stupid Guest Tricks

This is why we do what we do.

As castmembers we must hold ourselves to a higer standard . Our employee standards and policies apply whether we're at work in costume or when we're visiting as a guest. Try to have a little common sense. The is nothing worse than hearing "I'm a cast member and I expect special treatment"....

As a photographer at WDW, we're frequently offered tips. We are a non-tip position, and aren't permitted to accept tips. Our policy is to refuse (politely), and then tell the guest that the tip will go to Disney's. Conservation Fund.

I think using your hometown on your name tag is a great way to increase CM/guest interaction. I have had many guests comment, "oh, you're from Germany". I respond in a horrible German accent that, yes, I am, but no one could understand me, so I just do without the accent, the second senten...

Now I think I may be just making this harder or more annoying than it should be. I can understand not being able to get more than a few (like 3) FastPasses reserved ahead of time, but not to be able to possibly pick them up on the fly while in-park just seems annoying. I might get to an attraction ...
