Re: Veteran's Day

We were at MK (Florida) yesterday, and stuck around for flag retreat. Sorry, but it was quite disappointing. Canned music, unseen announcer over the PA, over and done. Now maybe the excuse is that everyone was getting ready for MVMCP that night, but still, it WAS Veterans' Day. Compared to a couple ...

Re: Funny Nametags

One day in front of the castle, as MiSiCi was rolling in, I saw a CM with the name tag Elliot who was looking much too somber for the occasion. So I said to him, "What's the matter, Elliot, did you lose your dragon?" (Yes, I know the dragon is Elliot and the boy is Pete, but...) It did bri...

We heard Jim Korkis a few months back when he was speaking at the Orlando Public Library. Very entertaining, with lots of great Walt stories. I found the book delightful.

Wasn't me, Delsdad, sorry if I wasn't clear. But when I saw the story, I knew that the crew here at SGT would get a big kick out of the thief getting what he deserves!

Catching a thief redhanded

This one is hitting the web today. First saw it at Disney Dispatch. This is a really smart guest who used phone tracking software and some very smooth Disney security to catch a thief red-handed. They chased the perp across Bay Lake from WL to the Magic Kingdom and nailed him - he's the SG, of cours...

Ah, but what ever happened to that charming little bistro that served "Peche a la frog"...

Never heard of it?

well in the distant mists of time, before Arthur or 10 there was a comedy duo... Peter Cook and Dudley Moore

The Peach and Frog

Enjoy!

Re: GMR gets under your skin!

Last month we had a short wait when we requested the cowboy. But we got an upfront seat from the deal!

Maybe sometime I'll be bold enough to request a "Joanna."

GMR gets under your skin!

This is quoted from board "X" "You can ask the CM before boarding if the cowboy scene is running, and request to board it. I have done this in the past - and the CM's have been quite accommodating. I believe they only run the Cowboy scene on busier days, as it is the next movie set in...

Re: SGT- not park related

@Flotilla: How long did it take you to learn Dutch? Did you know it before you went there? Kudos to you. I'd had a little College German, which helped with the grammar, but the biggest help was that Dutch TV showed English and American shows with Dutch subtitles, not dubbed dialogue. Really good way...
