Re: *Ding!* "Checking in?"
I admit I use my GPS on a daily basis going to and from work (though mostly just to work) even though I've been driving the same route for 10 years... My GPS displays traffic data on it, and it'll alert me if there's an incident on my route. I have it set to a "silent" voice though, so th...

Re: SGT- not park related
Like a previous poster said, I wouldn't dream of going to another country unless I spoke the language or was with someone who did. About 6 years ago, I took a 2 week trip to Europe (one week in Paris, one in London). I took French in high school and also in college, but it had been 8 yrs since I had...

Re: Amusing Menu Item or Copyright Infringement?
Let's see now... First, I believe that part of the requisites for determining if something falls under copyright infringement is that it has to be shown to causing actual damage in some way to the copyright holder. This can ether be tangible, such as loss of money from licensing fees and royalties,...

Re: Amusing Menu Item or Copyright Infringement?
I know that a lot of bakers do it, and I even personally know some that do, but that doesn't make it right or legal to do it. :Pdarph nader wrote:(note to self,,,do 'not' tell the baker)

Re: Amusing Menu Item or Copyright Infringement?
I don't think any restaurant can take the mickey waffle maker and use it to sell the items in their place. Could you see the Burger King on International Drive getting away with this wihout Disney getting a seperate license fee and the ability to control the quality of the product? Likely the box h...

Re: I am late for an appointment can you book this for me..
I, too, always book my vacation on-line. When I call for my dining reservations, I set aside an hour or so, so there won't be any interruptions.
Forgive me for being clueless on this, but can dining reservations be made online?

Re: Grad Night SGTs
We had to do the same thing...and all I'll say about when was it was the '80's... Our home park was WDW - which in those days meant MK for Grad Nite...since the only other park was EPCOT, and it was brand new... You have a few years on me, lol. I went in 92, and it was MK for us too. In retrospect ...

Re: Grad Night SGTs
I won't tell you *when* I went to my DL grad nite (lets just say the current generation probably thinks they used stone tablets and chisels ala the Flinstones in my day and age) but I do remember that we had to actually wear nice clothes. I mean dresses and slacks w/button-down shirts. I don't know...

Re: Grad Night SGTs
I remember when I went to Grad Night at WDW. It was actually my first trip ever to WDW. We rode Carousel of Progress (believe we fell asleep), Liberty Square Riverboat, and a few other rides that I don't remember. We tried to ride Space Mountain. We waited in line for 2 hrs outside the building, and...

Re: New map technology?
When I heard about Pal Mickey, I thought it was one of the niftiest things Disney had made. I was so disappointed when I heard they were discontinued, dashing my dreams of ever touring WDW with one, or even that they might incorporate them into DL. I suppose they could do something similar as an iP...
