Re: Do cm really hate GAC?
Somewhat related - in 2007 my son broke his arm at OKW OUR FIRST DAY there. I can now say I have ridden the most exciting ride at WDW - not one, but TWO ambulance rides. He couldn't have it set right away, so he was in a wheelchair with his arm in a sling for the rest of the week. (He had to be in t...

Re: An apology from a long-time lurker
In June our bus driver forgot she was going to CBR - she had been driving to Pop, and kinda went on automatic pilot. Hey, it happens - I once ended up going north towards Nashville instead of south towards Memphis because 9 times out of 10 that's where I would go. There was some grumbling on the bus...

Re: Rude guests and their cell phones...
One of my friends is a teacher and he does that to his students. He tells them that if he can't talk on his cell in class, neither can then. On a way more macabre note, I wonder if they have ever done that and it was the guest being notified of some emergency. That would not be a good thing. Then a...

Re: Disney to Close Pleasure Island's Six Night Clubs
My daughter and I are both very upset. AC is the highlight of our trips to WDW. It is unique - unlike the "dining and shopping experiences" they are planning to put in their place. I can shop or dine at home - the AC SCREAMS Disney. I too thought maybe moving it to AK or AKL - anything to ...

Re: Just sick! Service dog not allowed in school!
My philosophy is that a parent knows what is best for his/her child. Whatever a parent chooses - public, private, charter or homeschooling - should be supported. The bottom line is what is going to provide the child with the best, most appropriate education.

Re: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
I think they should build a new Indiana Jones ride at Hollywood Studios.

Just an aside re:home schooling. While the popular perception is that home schooled children are often gifted children, I know of many homeschooling parents who have special needs children who felt the school was not addressing their needs, and that is why they choose to home school. While it is tru...

Dear Stupid Guests . . .
I'm at the World, celebrating my b-day. My 18 year old daughter had a rough day, and composed a letter to SGs for her blog which I thought I would share. Dear Disney World guests, I understand with this many people in one place, shit will happen. It is difficult for everyone to get around, some of u...

Re: For all you MK types...
I'll be there at 7:55 a.m. on Friday - I'm the mom with the 18 yr. old girl, 5 and 6 yr. old boys, and tears streaming down my face as I try not to sob.
Tears of joy, of course.
